On December 7, I will embark on an 11-day mission trip to Uganda with Hearts United, an organization dedicated to fostering a thriving, self-reliant community where children have access to quality education, Christian mentors, and compassionate support for a united, loving future.

During this trip, we will visit more than 200 students in our program, make home visits to families, assess agricultural projects, and celebrate a very special milestone: the first graduation of Hearts United students. Most importantly, we will have the opportunity to build relationships, share God's love, encourage these students in their faith, and help them grow in their walk with Jesus.

For several years, I have had the privilege of sponsoring a child through Hearts United. I am especially excited to finally travel to Uganda, spend time with Joy in person, and get to know her better. Seeing her life, her family, and her community firsthand will make this experience incredibly meaningful to me.

My heart's desire for this trip is to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I want to serve, love others, and share the hope and grace that come from knowing Him. I pray that I will be a willing vessel for whatever God wants to do through me, using my story, my voice, my gifts, and my life for His glory. I also hope this experience will deepen my faith, humble my heart, and help me develop a greater sense of gratitude for the blessings, both big and small, that God has placed in my life.
